Long synopsis : Nathan was only eight years old when he had a near-death experience while trying to save the life of a little girl. For a brief moment young Nathan was clinically dead. Then, miraculously, he returned to life. Years later, Nathan is a successful New York corporate lawyer. Devastated by the painful circumstances of his divorce, he has barricaded himself behind his work, far from his daughter and his ex-wife Claire. Then the mysterious Doctor Kay enters his life. Enigmatic, intense, insistent, Kay claims that he is able to foresee imminent death for certain people with clarity and precision. What would you do if a stranger walked into your life and informed you that you were soon to die?
