Long synopsis : “Gojoe” is a historical fantasy set in 12th century Japan, a time of social upheaval and disintegration, as the Genji-Heike Clan War engulfed the nation in chaos and despair. For Sogo Ishii, ''Gojoe'' is a tale of karmic rivalry highlighting the supremely ironic need demonic and saintly men have for each other, as they each crusade for the truth.
