Short synopsis : We follow irrepressible dreamer Beth into the wild world of sports betting as she goes from small-town stripper to Vegas big time gambler’s assistant.

Long synopsis : Set in the wild world of sports gambling, LAY THE FAVORITE follows crazy dreamer Beth as she goes from Tallahassee stripper to Vegas gambler’s assistant, working for Dink, one of the best in the business. She’s a natural, but falls for Dink, much to the chagrin of his fearsome wife, Tulip. A triangular war ensues. Beth leaves to work for the unstable Rosie’s less-than-legal operation in NYC, but when her high risk gamble result in her innocent boyfriend facing jail, she must reunite with Dink, face up to Tulip, and face the music
